Gastric Band Testimonial From Stella Perkins for Tullia law

Gastric Band Surgery in Belgium

I decided after much consideration and research that Gastric banding was the option for me. Then after much research I found ‘The French cosmetic surgery’ company. I spoke to a few people that had undergone surgery with them and found this very useful to be able to answer my questions.

As a nurse I am aware of the risks associated with surgery and infections and wanted to make sure I was choosing the best option.

I was really pleased to hear that the hospital had never had any cases of MRSA or other superbugs, and after attending I can understand why. The hospital has people cleaning all the time. There was even a man going up and down all day on what looked like an indoor road sweeper.

As with any surgery I had some discomfort and nausea after surgery. As soon as you ask for something to help it is there within a few minutes. There was no waiting around for them to sort out the medication. Not all the staff speak English fluently but there is always someone around who does.

Overall my experience was very pleasant and the hospital was extremely clean and efficient. I felt fully informed and have no concerns or reservations about recommending it to others.
