Gastric Band Surgery Testimonials Tracey w

Dear tulia

I would just like to thank you for everything you did for me in France when I came for Gastric Band Surgery recently, from booking the room, the taxi picking us up, and bringing us back.

My partner said he couldnt believe it,  with no waiting around for my consultation with the Doctor.  Several bloods were done,  blood pressure,  etc.  and  everything was very thorough.  I was very pleased, and then I was taken back to the hotel.

The next day was my gastric band surgery.  I was terrified,  but the nurses were brilliant, bloods, ecg, blood pressure, everything was checked before I went down to surgery.

When I woke I was constantly checked all through the night, I felt a little sick,  but that was from the anaesthetic.

I was just a little sore, but they were feeding me pain relief through a drip checking me constantly.

I was allowed to go home the next day.

For the first 4 days I was  just sipping water.  I am now on day 6  and  I have had half a bottle of slim fast,  half a cup of home made pureed vegetable soup.  I am full now and drinking lots of water.

I already feel lighter,  this Surgery was the best thing I ever did.

I am more than happy with French Cosmetic Surgery and I would never have been able to afford gastric banding surgery in England

thank you Tulia

6 Useful Tips For Maintaining The Motivation To Lose Weight

Maintaining the motivation to lose weight commonly the most challenging aspect of the weight loss process. Most people have no problem signing up for a new diet or fitness program and getting all pimp up at the start. It's actually sticking with long term goals over a period of months and years that most people find hard. If you're sick of losing and gaining the same weight over and over, here are some sure-fire tips to consider to maintain your motivation to lose weight.

Regularly Measure Improvements In Your Health

The motivation to lose weight is not just about looking and feeling better. It's also about knowing you are healthier inside! One way to stay motivated is to visit your doctor and have blood work drawn just before you start your weight loss journey. You can return at regular intervals to see changes in your blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, and other important numbers.

If you have been diagnosed with diabetes or another health problem, just going off of your medications and knowing you have eliminated the health risk can be great motivation.

Give Yourself Praise

You can maintain the motivation to lose weight by tracking your compliance with goals on a daily basis. You essentially want to give yourself praise for all of your hard work, whether it be a sticker in a notebook or a checkbook in your day planner. If you are handy on the computer you can even create a chart that you update daily.

Team Up

If you can team up with a friend or family member who will hold you accountable, you could both reach your goals much quicker and push through the difficult periods. It's harder to miss a workout when you know someone is waiting on you at the front doors of the gym.

You might even want to create friendly competition or set a prize that only one of you can win at regular intervals. If you have a competitive spirit this can be a great way to maintain the motivation to lose weight over a longer period of time.

Make a Date

Alternatively, you can maintain your motivation to lose weight by competing against yourself. Sign up for a 5K run (even if you have to walk it) every month or so and challenge yourself to improve your time.

Rewards

Setting rewards to be enjoyed at regular intervals will help you keep your eyes on the prize. One big reward when you hit your goal weight won't be very effective since it is so far off, but smaller rewards set every 5 or 10 pounds will deliver that motivation to lose weight.

Have A Deeper Purpose

It's easy to say you want to drop 60 pounds so you look hot in your bikini, but what are the deeper reasons you want to lose weight? Take some time to write down a comprehensive list that includes all of the reasons you want and need to lose the weight. Stick it up around your home or keep it in your purse so you can read through it when you start to lose motivation.

Now, take some time look at this from the other perspective. Make a list of all the things that could happen in the future if you don't take action to lose weight. Which list do you want to be living in the next 5 years?

Consider your own personality quirks to come up with more unique ways to create the motivation to lose weight.

Are You Able To Actually Lose Weight Effectively With Fat Burners?

For the last few years, there was a surge in the production of weight loss supplements such as fat burners.
There are three ways on how a fat burner can help you lose weight.

First, they may stop the body from absorbing fat or carbohydrates during digestion as is the case with the Dietrine our favored weightloss supplement. It's also possible the fat burner works by aiding the body to break down fat quicker. The 3rd likelihood is that it holds back an individual's appetite.

However irrespective of the way the fat-consuming product helps fat reduction, some products have side effects expected such as stomach aches and ass rot - especially with products which are not 100% natural. Here are some of the ingredients contained in fat burners that make them work.
Theine or Caffeine is most commonly found in coffee, though you can also encounter this in tea, softdrink, candy and diet pills.

Many people are aware that caffeine is a way of staying up or awake.
However  the substance is also known to be a hunger suppressant. Commonly utilized by students who are rushing projects and thesis, it improves a person's energy, reasoning, memory and decreases exhaustion. caffeine in itself has no known effects when it comes to weight control. This is the reason why the substance is often mixed to create the desired effect of shedding weight.
Ephedrine With caffeine, this substance increases the level of some brain chemicals, resulting in the arousing of the sympathetic nerve system.

Essentially, it would result to an increased heart rate, blood pressure and resting metabolic rate.

Some of the chemicals released may also help to suppress an individual's appetite. In itself, ephedrine is capable of promoting weight control ; however , when mixed with caffeine, it becomes two times as much effective. Still, ephedrine isn't lacking in side effects like headaches, heart attacks and stroke. In fact, since 2004, the ingredient has been banned by both the FDA and some athletic affiliations. Nowadays, ephedrine is no longer an active ingredient when it comes to weight loss supplement.

Now, you’ll find ephedra-free products on the counter as manufacturers find new ingredients that are relatively safe. The newest – and possibly the safest – component is the Green Tea extract.
However, these products only promote the burning of fat and are not actually the ones that melt off the calories.

Proper diet mixed with exercise is the safest and most efficient way of losing one or two pounds, but taking slimming pills can speed up the process. It is advocated that except for taking slimming tablets, you may also need to eat your greens and actually do some mild exercise.
Try to build a routine that you will stick to no matter the circumstances as well as creating a diet packed with vegetables and fruit.
Basically, you will have to eat lesser amounts of food, but doing it more often. This would mean three meals a day – breakfast, lunch and dinner – and two snacks in between for a total of 5 consumptions of food. However, make sure that you only eat moderate amounts for each. Drink plenty of water and avoid softdrinks because these actually stimulate the collection of fat and work on your own fat burners naturally.
Make efforts to get enough sleep everyday with at least five hours of continuous sleep.

HIGH BLOOD SUGAR IS AN INDICATION OF A MORE SERIOUS PROBLEM

POPULAR UNDERSTANDING:

Diabetics do not make enough insulin or the body does not use all the insulin it produces. Insulin is a hormone that makes possible for glucose (sugar) to permeate cells and then transformed to energy. The pancreas emits enzymes that aid carbohydrate, protein, and fat metabolism. When the pancreas is dysfunctional then digestive enzymes are not provided for digestion. The condition imbalances the liver, gall bladder, spleen and all digestive related organs. During uncontrolled diabetes, glucose and fats stay in the circulatory system, where in time, the principal digestive organs become damaged and finally diseased.

DIABETIC STATISTICS:

  • Seventeen million Americans are walking around with diabetes, and 200,000 people will die this year due to related complications. Diabetes sets up conditions for heart disease, stroke, blindness, kidney failure, leg and foot amputations, pregnancy complications, and deaths related to flu and pneumonia. At risk, are the 5.9 million Americans who are unaware that they have the condition.
  • We spend $100 Billion a year on diabetes, directly and indirectly. In 1997, the normal health care outlay for someone with diabetes was ,071, contrasted with ,699 for an individual without diabetes.
  • U.S. adults with diabetes increased 49% from 1990 to 2000. Beyond the next decade, diabetes is expected to grow.
  • Diabetes is an epidemic. In 1990, there were only 4 U.S. states determined to be at epidemic levels. In 1995, the amount raised to 11. In 2000, there were only 6 states that were not at epidemic levels.

What happened to the other 44 states in 10 years? What is occuring in our country where a disease can over run us. Secretly, we are being plague by a force superior to any terrorist group. Is anyone paying attention? That's more than 15 million plus people caught in the grips of this top level threat to our country. Where's the equal level response by our government and medical establishment?

UNDERLYING CAUSATION

While insulin production and all the relevant symptoms in the body is a concern, to rest here and just declare the pancreas is the source of the ailment is not enough. Its a key element but not the whole. Some other factors:

Diet & Elimination: While diet plays another primary role in the story, reducing protein, carbs and sugar, soundly, helps but there is more to the setting that needs to be acknowledged. The quality of our food is less nutritious. Our U.S. sources have depleted the soil quality. Rather than re-establishing our soil with our elimination similar to other long life zones, the U.S. drains its precious elimination down the sewage lines to the oceans. As a result we have to look to natural sources of foods and diabetic herbs.

Life stressors: Stress wears down the life force. Are we experiencing more stress than our parents? Difficult to say. They survived World War II whereas we have been subjected to escalating undeclared wars, increasing amusement channels, artificially constructed anti-diseases,chemicals, taxes, etc. If, we try to measure up to these activities and not rest (physically, mentally, spiritually) then our adrenals-kidneys become deficient which houses our physical energy production. The result is that all of our organs do not have the energy to sustain.Consequently, when organs do not perform their functions and call for restoration, not separately but systemically prior to additional non-understood illnesses present.

Character: Our ability to interpret, positively or negatively, may have a lot to say about our ability to manage personal conflict. If we see things positively then our perceptions and response is that we are challenged and figure out solutions. Once negative, then positive options may be overlooked because we are overwhelmed by fear. That high level of anxiety speeds up aging, perpetuates fear and opens the door to an unprotected immunity. We need to learn or relearn how find courage during stressful times. As we believe, we perceive, so shall our life follow.

How To Choose A Home Blood Pressure Monitor

There are several varieties and types of home blood pressure monitors (HBPM). Buying a blood pressure monitor is a good way to keep track of your blood pressure; then again, choosing one can be confusing. The choice is individual and usually based on::Accuracy, Ease of use, Price, Type of cuff, Memory and printing options.  It is crucial to choose one you are comfortable with. This article will provide you several tips and information to choose best BP monitor for you.

Home blood pressure monitors are principally of 3 types, Mercury column, aneroid and Digital Blood pressure monitors.

Mercury HBPMs:
These are seen in Doctor's Offices. They are the most precise, yet most complex to use. This monitor uses a stethoscope to detect the sounds in the arteries.

Aneroid HPBMs-
These machines are the second most dependable.  Aneroid monitors range in cost from roughly $20 to $30. They also call for incorporating a stethoscope – which is integrated in this particular unit. They are lightweight, portable, and reasonably priced. Authorities from the American Society of Hypertension suggest this type and say that these are the most economical monitors and not much can go wrong with them. Aneroid models can be complicated to use, and may need instruction by a doctor or health employee. Also, using these requires excellent hearing and eyesight and may not be the most excellent alternative for elderly or disabled people For these reasons, aneroid HBPMs are generally less accepted than digital monitors.

Digital HBPMs:
These blood pressure monitors are less exact, but they are the easiest to use. They are a good selection for people who are hard of hearing or have weak eyesight. If you use it correctly, it is the best choice for anyone.

Furthermore it is important to think about the style of cuff while investing in HBPMs. Cuffs are of three varieties. Arm, wrist and finger cuffs. Arm cuffs are the most accurate. Finger and wrist cuffs are only recommended for individuals who cannot wear them on the arm. An incorrectly fitted arm cuff will provide an inaccurate reading. This is the most frequent explanation for erroneous blood pressure readings. To establish your cuff size, measure around the middle of your upper arm. If it is
Less than 31 cm (12.2 in), purchase a regular-size cuff.
Between 31 and 40 cm (15.7 in), buy a large-size cuff.

Cuffs should be inflated to measure blood pressure- they consist of those that must be inflated manually, semi-automatic devices, or auto inflate devices.

Next are some tips for when you buy your blood pressure machine.

Display Size - Is a standard or an extra-large LCD read-out necessary? Try to get one with a standard size.
Power Supply - Battery powered or AC adapter. If you travel, the battery powered unit is your best choice.
Memory Features - A number of models remember the final reading or many readings. There are also models that have a PC link. Better to decide on one that has a memory of atleast one month BP monitoring.
Printing options- A few monitors also include printing options to keep your records safe.
Cuff Sizes - Large and small arm cuffs are available for several units. The size of the cuff on a blood pressure monitor might be the most important feature in getting a correct reading. So always use a cuff which is not too small and not too large.
Cost - Price could be the most important factor. Keep in mind to do as much research as possible. The more pricey models may not always be superior to the less costly monitors
Accuracy - Readings on some wrist and finger units might not be as accurate as an arm unit depending on the person.
Ease of Use - Depends on personal choice. People with particular disabilities could find one machine simpler to use than another.
Length of Warranty - Warranties fluctuate from one to three years. Test your unit on a regular basis to make sure everything operate smoothly and accurately.

While monitoring your blood pressure is important, reducing it is more important. If you are overweight, learning how to get rid of body fat and losing excess weight can be a literal life saver.
