I am writing to you with regard to the excellent service for my Gastric ByPass surgery which you and your Company provided during my stay in Belgium both in the hospital and the stay in the local Hotel, which were both excellent.
If only the Health Service in England could provide the same !
I had a Gastric Sleeve Operation which was carried out by your surgeon Dr Philip, at your Hospital in Roeselare in Belgium, and I can not fault it in any way, The staff were very attentive and caring, and nothing was too much for them.
This also includes the Taxi service from the Station to the Hotel, from Hotel to Hospital and return trips.
I highly recommend your service and should you wish to forward my comments to any future client, and should they wish to speak to me personally, with regard to this I would be most pleased to recommend your service and put any doubts to rest.
Its only been 3 weeks now since my surgery and I have lost 8 kg and I am very pleased with the results.

After a number of years battling to loss weigh and trying almost every diet possible – weight watches, slim fast, atkins, lighter life and losing weight on a temporary basis, enough was enough. I was fortunate to have access to the funds to undergo Gastric Band Surgery. I spent a few months looking into the process, what it takes along with risks and complications. I weighed up the pros and cons and the positives of surgery were far far better
I started researching on the internet looking into where to have the gastric band surgery done but with London prices near on £8,000 – £10,000 it looked like I wouldn’t be having it done after all. I couldn’t afford that much. Then, one afternoon I came across these guys who could do surgery in Belgium. Don’t get me wrong, I was nervous as I have heard all the horrid stories of people going abroad for surgery and coming back unhappy and with surgery that was patch work but it was worth some research and I requested some details.
I spoke to Tulia she gave me all the information I needed including a number of testimonies of people who had surgery done along with phones numbers. I started doing what you are doing now; reading these blogs hoping it would answer all my questions. It did! I spoke with Tulia near on every day for 2 weeks to answer all my questions help me arrange dates etc and she was ideal.
I decided to do it. I was ready to book but hold on, the money is needed upfront – alarm bells ring!
Do not panic. It was fine, I sent them the money and things went quite for a few days. Chris, the aftercare manager rung a week before and asked for my euro star confirmation and he would sort everything. And 1 day before traveling I had everything I needed, a schedule of times, locations, the pre-diet ect. It was spot on!I got on the euro star already to go. Got to Lille and the taxi was waiting. From start to finish the service was spot on. The day of surgery there was no hanging around – Straight down for surgery. Chris the aftercare manager came to my hotel before traveling home to check me over – how’s that for service!
I could not recommend these guys enough. The doctor and all people involved are super and their English is better than mine!
I had my first 3ml fill 2 days ago and so far I have lost a stone in around 3-4 weeks! The fill was pain free, odd feeling to be honest but no pain. I went to their new offices in London, close to Harley street and was there less than 15mins. I saw the doctor who did my surgery and Chris the after care manager was also there again.
I have had a number of conversations / emails with Chris and directly with the doctor since. Whenever I have a question even at 10pm, they are always just a phone call away.
What are you waiting for, book it and enjoy life without battling a weight problem.

Exellent service and aftercare.
I left the UK for Belgium on the 27th October for my Gastric Band Operation not knowing what to expect on my arrival there. I was met at the airport by the taxi driver who was ever so polite and helpful who took us to the hotel in Roeselare which was comfortable and was told to be ready the next morning for the trip to the hospital.
At 09:30 on the 28th October the taxi picked us up at the hotel and off we went to the hospital and we were met by Dr Philip V D B in the reception area and his professional manner soon put me at ease by explaining what was to come and asked if I had any questions, I was admitted to hospital and a few hours later was taken for surgery and later woke up in recovery and when ready back to the ward.
The hospital is very clean and the staff carried out their duties professionally and were helpful and communicate in English well and made sure you understood what was happening.
The day of discharge Dr Philip visited me to see how I was and to x-ray the band to see it it was functioning and then made sure that I understood my diet for the following weeks. I then was met by the taxi driver in the foyer and taken back to the hotel to relax until the following afternoon whence once again picked up by the taxi and off to the airport.
I am very satisfied with the way everything went with Dr Philip V D B and his professional services , the friendly hospital staff and clean hospital ward and the taxi service provided and to sum it all up the professional way in which I was treated and handled by Laser Clinics (France) Ltd in Belgium.
For anyone who is thinking about having this operation and worried about it being in another country I would like to put your minds at ease by saying you will have the best care and treatment you will ever want.

I have had my gastric band fitted now for 2 weeks and apart from some post operational soreness the process was very acceptable.
All the taxi`s were on time and the hotel was very clean and in a nice location.
Many worried that I was travelling abroad for such a procedure but, having researched this as much as possible, I was content that it was the most cost effective route to take.
I have no complaints at all.
So far 1st 3lbs has vanished from me, with no feelings of emptiness at all and strangely no cravings. Even sitting down to the table with my family this week who were eating a Sunday roast and I abowl of soup, did not bother me, so it does show how that something has been triggered and I can only hope for continual weight loss in the coming months.
I would say to all those considering the procedure in Belgium, do it, there was no concerns thrown up at all.

Hello Tullia,
I would like to thank you for the service I received (and still receiving) when I recently underwent my Gastric Band operation on 1st July 2011.
I cannot praise highly enough the people involved. Tullia, who helped make the decision to have the op and with the answer to any question. Chris Duprez for his easy going manner, his ’nothing is too much trouble’ attitude and Doctor Philip and his team. Outstanding. Even Sam the taxi driver was nice.
From the time my daughter and I were picked up from Brussels Midi station and taken to the hotel, meeting Chris who explained exactly what was to happen the next day, to meeting Doctor Philip and having the op was such a pleasant, relaxing experience I didn’t feel as if I was to have an operation.
The aftercare by the staff at the hospital was very good, you easily could imagine that you were the only patient they had. The hospital room itself was very clean and tidy.
Whilst my daughter was supposed to have the Gastric Band operation after me. Doctor Philip decided he could not go ahead with it as he discovered a pre existing liver condition which was unknown to us.
He therefore ended up doing an emergency op on the liver (with another surgeon)
My daughter had to spend time in the intensive care unit. Doctor Philip not only kept me informed personally what was going on but he took me to see my daughter several times so I could see for myself that she was ok. I cannot thank Doctor Philip and his team enough for this as who knows what could have happened if the liver had started to bleed when my daughter was anywhere else other than on the operating table and it could have happened at anytime.
Chris also visited and was willing to change all our travel and hotel arrangements should it have been needed, we were not made to rush our decision and could have stayed in hospital longer if need be.
I really do recommend this team if you are thinking of having a Gastric Band. I feel great and on my way to losing weight and saved money into the bargain. What more can I say go for it its the best decision you will ever make.

Cataract Surgery magnificent service in France
I had had a lot of trouble obtaining satisfactory glasses for about a year when I arranged a consultation in Calais with Tullia to see Dr Benoit Regnaut, an ophthalmic surgeon. He diagnosed cataracts and within 6 weeks I had had both eyes operated on.
This entailed removal of cataracts and implantation of permanent lenses into both eyes. This was done under local anaesthetic (painless)and I am really surprised and pleased with the results. I now only need glasses for the smallest print and my iPhone!
Tullia organised everything brilliantly and kept me informed throughout the process. What could have been a disconcerting episode was turned into a very positive experience by the charm and organisation ability of Tullia and the skill and fantastic expertise of Dr Regnaut and all the team at the Clinic.

From the moment I stepped off the plane to being in hospital and coming home again was excellent.
I was picked up at the airport and driven to the lovely hotel where I met Chris who went through everything with me.
The staff at the hospital were also very helpful and made me feel very comfortable during my short stay. Everything there was very clean and tidy and I was made to feel very much at ease.
I am glad I chose to have this surgery done in Belgium due to the fact that

I am now 11 days post op and this is the best thing I have ever done.
I was very sceptical of tansferring such a large amount of money up front but I need not have worried at all.
Tulia arranged everything for me and has been there every step of the way with phone calls before and after my gastric band surgery.
The hotel and hospital were all brilliant.
I went on my own and spent a day in Bruges (a short train ride away) taking in the sights the day before my op as I was a little bit nervous. The shoping certainly took my mind off things.
There is slight discomfort afterwards but that to be expected after any operation.
11 days on I am pain-free and am on my way to a slimmer and happier me.
If you are thinking about arranging this through Tulia, I hope I have reassured you.

Dear Tullia
On the 23th of may 2011 my son and I went to Belgium for Gastric Band Surgery.
I am 63 years old and my son is 39
It was a very pleasant experience for both of us.
From the moment when we got on the plane in Dublin, to when we got home after the surgery, everything had been taken care of for us. We had nothing more to worry about.
I would highly recommend using this service anyone considering the surgery.
It was equivalent to getting a filling at the dentist.
